if you live in houston you most likely know how effed up the roads can be. i couldnt see the pothole coz there was a car in front of me and then all i heard was a loud pop noise. at first when i stepped out i looked and it and it looked fine. and then while i was washing the car for the meet tonight i realized i bent my rims :( and also i bubbled the front right falken 512 tire. and then after looking more closely the tire itself actually cracked from where the bubble was formed. i had to switch out to a spare coz i was afraid it would blow out on the high way to discount tire. luckily i got the warranty and only had to pay 25 for the new replacement tire's warranty. but now i have a dent on my Rota rim. my friend that works at discount tire recommended Sab's Wheel Repair. I was wondering if anyone here from houston can tell me if this place is legit and is it worth paying to fix the bent rim?
thanks alot and appreciate for the help.

hey marc, where in houston did this happen?
i've bent my volks a couple times due to the bad roads around certain areas. mostly downtown! i hate downtown and midtown roads!!!!! anyway, i dont know how much the rotas cost but sabs will probably charge about $130-$150 to repair the rim. i got my volks repaired by them both times. from what i understand they are the best in houston. and the turnaround time was 1 day. you might want to get an alignment too depending how bad you hit the pot hole. if you need an alignment you can go to southwest alignment. some people have had bad experinces with them, i personally haven't or you can go to c&c. ask for curt...tell him joyce sent you, he'll know who i am. c&c is more expensive but curt will do it right!

It happened in the SouThWest Area
S. Rice Ave and Fournace Place going towards Bellaire
yeah i know right. thing is i go through worse roads than this one coz i go to school on Fondren and 59... iono why they cant fix the roads. geez. yeah ive heard about sabs being the best in houston. im just not sure if i should use that 130-150 to get it fixed or put that money towards one new rim. :/ sorry about the volks those are wayyy better than rotas lol. but thanks for the insight. ill definitely tell curt you sent me if i do end up deciding on getting them fixed.
thanks alot!

You guys have bad roads in Texas? You should visit MA. With the weather we have here, you can't find a single road that's completely smooth unless it has fresh pavement. Everyday driving is an adventure if you have a lowered car with or without wheels.
