iono
i dont think u owned
i think u more informed!! :)

i've tried to 'glean' as much as i can from this thread, as i'm seriously about ready to order CTech s/c and put on a transcooler. car now ONLY has AEM and Dual HKS exhaust, (“A pipe” back, 3 in. custom piping), in addition to suspension and cosmetic mods. very show-looking, never abused, 29,000 miles, stock auto-trans. if adding a handful of small-dollar stuff (including traNscooler) PLUS unichip wil appreciably enhance my low-end (off the line) performancel, i might consider letting go of the high-dollar s/c. in other words, i'd rather spend $2 grand than $4 grand if doing the s/c is going to put me in a place where i need to keep adding stuff (header, t-stat & switch, etc). the unichip is new to me, so i'll do a search here for info on that. But i'd love an opinion or 2 about 'chip & small stuff vs. S/C'. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!

get basic bolt ons first
then s/c
that way ur car will respond better to the s/c
IMO

so you're recommending pulleys, headers, t-stat / switch upgrade, and plugs, correct? (am i missing anything?) all this BEFORE the s/c. and to stay away from the unichip, right? here's my problem - i can afford the chip along with the rest of these things, but can't afford all of it if i go the s/c route. if the chip gives a lot of low-end torque, i might be satisfied performance-wise. drivetrain STABILITY is a priority, and so is HALTING the upgrade process. another question - is the s/c OR the unichip WORSE on our poor, weak tranny?

Depending on how satisfied you are now with the Accord I would tell you to go with all the little mods first, the Supercharger is definantly harder on our trannies but it shouldn't be a problem especially with a tranny cooler. Do try the ram air ducting that I did on my car, I highly recommend it as sad as that might seem, but it really works.

well if u got the money and the patience then bolt on then s/c then tranny lol
but if not then s/c
s/c will give u the most hp just like that so if u want it now and fast then bam!!
but i went the long way
only thing left fo rme is headers and exhaust then s/c

That's the thing - i DON'T have the $ and patience. i want to lay down one more chunk of change and be DONE with it. obviously the transcooler is needed for the kind of longevity i'm seeking, and t-stat/switch are cheap enough, maybe even headers. but will doing those things WITHOUT the s/c (or the unichip) provide appreciable PUNCH?

just get the s/c then
get the rest later
s/c first and then wen u start having more money then add more things
