Chulo nice man. You gained 2-3mph in trap that's all that matters. NHB said it well. Your 60' was worse but you still ran better and trapped higher.

Btw 235/50 is decently bigger than stock. You're losing mph and ET in your tires as well. check the diff in diameter, it's prob an inch or more. Every inch counts ;)

its not so much the size its the level of grip, usually tires with a 200 or less treadwear rating are gonna give you better grip. The tread design that works best is obviously a full slick tire but no one is gonna rock slicks on their daily so just try to find a tread design that works for you. For example i would rock a 225/45/17 on the factory 17x7 wheels and a Hankook RS3 tire if i had a daily that i was tracking.. LAstly, there is only so much grip you can get without LSD or stiffer motor mounts. Remember a good suspension and tire pressure setup also affects your grip level as well. I have never really made an attempt to "setup" a car for straight line but it looks like a stiff rear setup and getting as much weight transferred to the front of the car is a good starting point.

I don't know why everybody is questioning his engine's power. His car is trapping 2 MPH faster than my 40k mile j30a4 6-6 JP/CBE/V2/URD pulley did, and 2-3 mph faster than his j30a5 did. Let's not forget the j30a5 was 244 hp SAE, making it only 14 BHP less than the j32a3. His times will get better with traction; I went to the track this spring with the same temps, hardly 50 degrees, and I had to ***** foot it out of the hole with a little less power than he's making with the J32. Trapping 100 mph is what guys like Sonnick hit with 250 whp Accords. Just because you had a freak launch and perfect 60 ft time doesn't mean his car is weaksauce, when it's out trapping yours by 3 mph :p

I also thinks that the ecu is just starting to learn the different flow with the j-pipe and exhaust since I got it install on Wednesday and didn't drive the car much before the track. One thing I notice that in the 1/4 mile with the j30 I shift to 4 right at the end of the 1/4 mile and with the j32 I am on four gear longer

I'm interested in doing this swap.

What year ecu are using? 06 TL MT?

Would you get a CEL if you used a 04-05 TL MT ecu?
I am using an 04 tl mt ecu, I first got an 06 ecu but that didn't work cause Acura changed the ecu wiring on the 06+ tl
Yea you would get a cell (p0453) FTP fuel tank pressure sensor hight imput. unless you relocate a pin on the ecu that would look for this sensor. I still haven't find which is the pin that has to be relocated.

I've been looking at the pinouts for the 04 TL, 07-08 TL (someone mentioned that the 06 TL has similar pinouts), and the 06 Accord. Almost every pin is different between the 07/08 TL and the 06 Accord. I'm still looking for the 06 TL pinouts, specifically.

According to the 04-05 TL pinouts here: ECU Pinout 3G TL - AcuraZine Community, the Fuel Tank Pressure sensor pin at A29 is the same as the 06 Accord in my Helms FSM.

Here are the pinouts of a 03 Accord: http://www.v6performance.net/forums/1653651-post35.html

Are you using the 06 TL engine harness or did you swap your 06 Accord harness over to the TL engine?

EDIT: You need to move the GRN/BLK wire at A28 to A1. It's the sensor ground (SG4) for the FTP sensor.

Thank you a lot, and thanks to hisaznboi88 he just pm the pin out. I am going to try it tomorrow after work and would let you know how it goes.
thank again

I relocate pin #28 to #1 and still getting the cell :bang head:, I am going to scan it tomorrow to see if it
