Hey everyone I'm about to purchase tein basic coilovers for my coupe. I have stock 16'' rims with 215/60/16 tires. I was thinking of lowering it to no finger gap but would it rub with that tire size? If it would rub, then would 1 finger gap rub? Does anybody have pictures of their coupes lowered with no gap or 1 finger gap on stock rims. Thanks

no it won't rub, i have 0 finger gap riding on 17x8 TL rims and it's fine, unless you hit like huge bumps then it might rub a little but you'll have no rubbing issues

Nice! Cause my car is lowered with 2 finger gap and it doesn't look lowered to me so i figured lowering to no gap would actually be low the way i want it.

I think as long as you drive carefully around hazardous areas, you will be fine. My tires are about = with my fenders, but because I drive carefully, I rarely rub. But, I'm not at a 0 finger gap, I have 1 finger all around.

isn't stock tires 205/60/16??? shud b fine with 1finger gap cuz i had my coilovers dropped bout that height, but i don't have a big load or carry passengers/heavy stereo systems, etc.
if u dropped that low, u gonna have to get front AND rear camber kits im sure! im too lazy to get the front camber kit but i do got the back ones, GL

Stock is 205, but you can fit 215 on stock rims.

I'm riding with no gap and never have any problems rubbing. Then again, I don't have either front or rear camber kits which helps slightly.

Lol klepto you dont really need a camber kit if you gonna do alightnment. It all matters if you install your coilovers properly, and have an alignment done few times a year no need for a camber kit really...As for MR.Dopey you won't rub if you go all the way even though basics won't even let you get as slammed as other coilovers...

im drop with 1 finger
with 18s running 225 and im rubbin
It's because your offset (+40mm I'm assuming on the 57C's) is all whack and you're set to -0 -> 1 degree camber.

You honestly expected to ride +40mm, 225 18s with 1 finger gap, NOT have to do any sort of fender and/or wheel modification and not rub? Funny.

Oh that and because you have a sedan. morpheiz had the same problem with +42.
