Hi everyone I'm new to this so bare with me but I bought a 2013 accord HFP last summer and I absolutely love it! Now I noticed there isn't much yet on the subject but I was hoping to add a little more performance to my car but I noticed an intake is all there really is so far. I don't suppose anyone knows if there is anything else I could do that maybe I missed?

I just installed the Takeda Retain on my 2014 v6. Pretty nice product. No idea about HP gains, but intake sound is nice. Any thoughts on this:

The Takeda is a very good choice. I have one on my 2013 Honda Accord touring. one thing you may want to try is a Volant power core filter on it. I tried one on my Takeda intake and the gas mileage when up by 2 miles per gallon. This is actual no kidding. These are the product dimensions I got to work with my Takeda intake.(along with a little more information)

Hey folks. Just thought I would give a little info since I just installed the Takeda Retain on my 2014 Accord EX-L V6 manual. I have the black wrinkle finish, (just for aesthetics) and it really is natural looking in the engine bay. Performance is noticeable but what really causes the "love" is VTEC (V-crack) kicking in. Lawd, lawd, just help me keep my foot out of it. But I can't, I'm addicted. The only thing I can do is install the Takeda catback exhaust system. I'll give an update when that happens. (If I have any gas left in the tank)

Update: Just bought the Takeda Catback. Waiting for delivery and install. Will update w/ pics.

Anyone considering this intake might want to check out other accord forums. There is a guy that put the car on a dyno and actually lost a few HP and a few foot pounds of TQ. They ran the car on a dyno stock, and then with the intake.

Just put this on my 2015 EXL V6 MT coupe and I must say I'm impressed.

Oh and BTW, it's a much easier install than the injen. No bumper removal needed. Entire install takes about 1-1.5hr.

I recently installed the Takeda Retain System with the oiled filter. It is very nice looking, and was not too difficult to install. I also installed a TB spacer, and everything fit together just fine. I'd be surprised if the benefit is greater than 5-7 hp to the rear wheels, but every little bit helps. Plus, it looks very cool and performance-oriented. I just wish there was an option for the ugly black plastic intake cover which is *not* very cool.

I've only seen a couple reviews and comments about the Injen intake. Most people who have it, like it. One company said that it gained up to 7.64 hp and 6.84 ft/lbs. of torque. There wasn't a dyno graph or any actual support for the claim, it was just part of their part description. Looks like it fits pretty well, and it does have their patented MR technology so it will keep your A/F ratios stable while maximizing horsepower and torque.

Until someone can compare them, there's not much more I can comment on.

Hello.I have the ingen on my 2015 v6 coupe.I love it.People complain about taking the front bumper off but i did not have to.I removed drivers side front wheel and inner fender clips on front side of fender and the ones underneath front bumper.(One goes thru the inner fender to the box you want to remove).Next i removed foglight and the the 2 screws holding the box in place.I then slid it out between inner fender and fender.Did not remove battery or tray either.Its a true cold air intake.The takede is not.I am also a big fan of the amsoil filter that ingen uses.

Pro tip right there. I went with Takeda because of all the rain we get here, but Injen or AEM was my first choice.
