Hmm...he has 15mm less inner clearance than my rear setup. I don't remember there being that much room back there, but that's dependent on his ride height and camber settings. I too would expect at least a lot more poke from that setup than what it's showing. Maybe the pics are coming from somewhat deceiving angles that aren't really showing the whole picture?

It doesn't poke much because the car is tucking half of the tire with a roll and pull. If I raise up the car you would notice almost half of the wheel stick out. Remember its on all stock arms in the rear for camber, cast, and toe just slammed all the way.

The offset is just einoth that it doesn't hit the struts because my other set I was running 18x10 with +35 it rub the struts when shocks compressed.

18x9 +30 of course for daily but you will be eating tires every 6months or so depending on your camber, cast, and toe alignments.

18x8 +48 would fit fine right? I see Changaroo's car on his old RX8 wheels were 18x8 +50, so I imagine I would be okay. Not an aggressive set-up, but maybe with some spacers in the rear to bring things out?

Trust me... You won't have ANY issues with that sizing. If anyone knows it's me. I'm 18x7.5 +48mm right now so a quarter of an inch on either side of my wheels would be more than fine. I have some crazy gap between the sidewall of my tire and the fender.

hmmmmm, then I might have found the wheels I want to save up for. I'm not looking to go for a crazy hellaflush set-up, I love the look but I just can't justify it for daily driving my car the way I do. Just trying to do some more research on the brand, we'll see!

17x8 enkei wheels

Hi,

I have a 99 v6 coupe and it's dropped on tein s springs and tokiko
blues (and I also have the illuminas)..
I have 17x8 enkei rims that my friend wants to sell me, are these
wheels compatible? Will they fit and if not would I have to roll my
fenders or stretch my tires?
